Properties
The SEQUESTRANT 873 in addition to having a strong sequestering power against calcium and magnesium salts and
metal salts, also has an excellent dispersing and suspending power even in strongly alkaline baths.
SEQUESTRANT 873 is also used during bleaching with hydrogen peroxide to avoid the formation of iron salts which
could cause yellowing and decreases in whiteness.
