Stability
Good to acids, alkalis to salts and hard waters.
Compatibility
Compatible with the usual non-ionogenic products, although it can sometimes diminish the effect of such products.
Dissolution
It can be mixed in any ratio with hot and cold water or added directly to the treatment baths.
Dosage
Dyeing of polyester fibers: 0.5 – 2 g / L of SAPOL 844 It is a second of the intensity of tone and of the
bath ratio and to be added to the already heated dye bath (it is recommended to prepare a
stock solution prior to introduction of the product in the dye bath).
Dyeing of polyester / wool blends: Add 1 – 2% of SAPOL 844 IS when the dye bath reaches 40 – 50 °
C.
Dyeing of polyamide fibers: 2g / L of SAPOL 844 IS is used to disperse the dyes in the mother liquor,
therefore another addition to the dyeing bath can be avoided.
Wool dyeing: 2% of SAPOL 844 IS in the bath with a ratio of 1:20
Properties
Anionic, non-foaming dispersing product, specific for dyeing polyester fibers, polyester / wool
blends and polyamide fibers with dispersion dyes. Sapol 844 IS is used as levelling agent in the
dyeing of wool with 1: 2 metal complex dyes at a slightly acid pH (5.5 – 6.5).
Sapol 844 IS is also used as a solubilizer for direct, acid, metal-complex and indigosol dyes.
