NOVACEL 151 is a very versatile enzyme, it is recommended to work in the following way (optimal conditions to obtain the maximum
abrasive power of the enzyme):
NOVACEL 151 0.5-1.2% m.p.
r.b. 1:10
pH 4.5 – 5 (optimal 4.8)
Temperature 50-60 ° C
Time 20-60 min
To completely deactivate the enzyme, rinse for 15 min with 1-2 g / l of sodium carbonate and / or bring the temperature to 80 ° C (pH 8-
9).
Properties
NOVACEL 151 is a multicomponent liquid cellulase preparation. NOVACEL 151 is used on cellulosic fibers to obtain a superficial
cleaning of the fabric (Biopolishing), and an anti-pilling and point-blank effect. NOVACEL 151 can also be used to obtain the stone-
washed effect on denim.
