Properties
EGALENE 149 is a synergistic blend that develops various actions in the dyeing process:
– Dispersing power towards the dye: EGALENE 149 is an effective dispersant of dyes.
It does not cause demetallization.
– Equalizing / leveling power: EGALENE 149 forms with the dye molecule the addition compounds, which break down
during the dyeing process, favoring a gradual exhaustion and excellent equalization.
– Sequestering agent of Fe, Ca and Mg: EGALENE 149 has a strong sequestering power against calcium, magnesium
and metal salts.
It also has an excellent dispersing and suspending power even in strongly alkaline baths.
– EGALENE 149 makes the colors more brilliant.
EGALENE 149 cannot be used in a strongly acid bath, in acid purge treatments, with basic dyes.
