Dosage
ECODROP 503*: 60 – 100 g/L
CATALYST 788: 20 – 30 g/L
KEMOPOL 623: 1 g/l
Absorption: 30-90%
Scarf application
Adjust the pH to around 5
To dry. Polymerize at 160 – 180°C for 60 – 120 seconds depending on the material.
*It is recommended to stir the product well before use.
Properties
ECODROP 503 is indicated for the waterproof finish of all textile fibres.
ECODROP 503 can be diluted in water, acidifying the bath beforehand with 0.5 – 1 g/L of acetic acid (pH
between 4 – 6).
ECODROP 503 is resistant to dry and wet cleaning in combination with catalyst.
The acidity of the bath is absolutely essential. Therefore it will be necessary to ascertain that the fabrics to be
treated do not bring alkalinity, and do not contain surfactants.
Thorough rinsing is therefore recommended before waterproofing.
