Anionic

Physical aspect

Brown liquid

pH (5% solution)

8 ± 1

Solubility

Miscible in any ratio with water, even cold

Stability

Stable to slightly acidic and alkali baths. With acetic acid conc. react and subsequently dissolves by agitation.

Precautionary rules

Avoid direct contact between BLOCCANTE 496 and concentrated acids.

Dosage

Dyeing of wool fiber and polyamide:
It is an excellent dyeing agent for polyamide fibers in the presence of 1: 2 type complex metal dyes.
The dosages vary from case to case, depending on the shade of the dyes and therefore the percentages of the dyes used: on average
they are between 2 and 3% fiber weight.
Dyeing of wool and / or polyamide with cellulosic fibers:
It is a specific reservoir for dyeing called “mezzalana” as it avoids the rise of direct dyes on the wool or polyamide fibers.
The doses of use are between 1 – 5% fiber weight. a second percentage of the colors used.
For a light color, 3% fiber weight. is usually recommended.
Post-treatment of protein and / or polyamide fibers:
BLOCKER 496 is useful for increasing the wet fastness of acid dyes made on wool or polyamide.
The dyed and rinsed material is briefly treated with 3 – 7% BLOCCANTE 496 by adjusting the pH to approx. 4.5 with acetic acid at
ordinary or lukewarm temperature for about 20 ‘.

Properties

Riservante delle componenti proteiche e/o poliammidiche in mista con fibre cellulosiche o artificiali, utilizzabile in ambiente acido.
Migliora le solidità ad umido su fibre di poliammide e lana tinte con coloranti acidi.
