Properties
CHEMOFIX 481 is a fixing agent used to improve the fastness to washing, water and sweat of dyes obtained with direct, direct light and
reactive dyes.
The particular molecule of CHEMOFIX 481 binds to the dye forming insoluble compounds which are particularly solid when washed.
CHEMOFIX 481 can be used in combination with common finishes to textile processing, it is however recommended to conduct
preliminary tests for the compatibility and stability of the finishing baths.
As for the dyeing and printing of reactive dyes, the application must be performed after normal washing and soaping.
CHEMOFIX 481 can be applied by exhaustion, by padding or in a washing machinery.
