Dosage

To fully exploit the effectiveness of ANTIFOAM 218 it is a good idea to dilute it completely in cold
water, in order to have well-homogeneous mother solutions (filter if necessary).
It is known that the lack of prior dilution of the silicone antifoam, in addition to lowering the yield of
the product, due to an imperfect distribution of the same in the bath, can give rise to the formation
of stains that are difficult to remove.
General use doses: up to 3 g / L

Properties

ANTISCHIUMA 218 is a very versatile defoamer, to be used only in processes at atmospheric
pressure, avoiding sudden changes in temperature.
ANTIFOAM 218 has good stability to alkalis and acids in solution.
